چکیده

The research used the seeds of long flax "Vruchy" variety and oil-curly "Original" variety. To extract mucus, whole were hydrated for 3 hours. in tap water, at a ratio 1:20 temperature 18 – 20 °C with constant stirring magnetic stirrer. This study aimed to evaluate effect duration extraction on yield mucilaginous polysaccharides aqueous solution from flaxseed. Change range: is selected range 0 °С 100 step °С; duration, ranging 10 min 140 increments. was determined each combination controlled factors. It established that first min. there an increase rate slows over time. For 90 equilibrium occurs 80 °C. period process optimal mucilage-forming mass extracted polysaccharides, after time 95 5.74%, 6.00% °С. A package applied statistical programs employed during experimental data. mathematical model extracting mucus-forming built using regression analysis methods. obtained equations regimes sought values terms (80 85 °C), (85 min) conducted compliance prescribed amount water 200 cm3. Within formation transparent gel capsule around phase separation boundary under seed contact which does not change further. indicates completion hydration process.

Cardioprotective activity of flax lignan concentrate extracted from seeds of Linum usitatissimum in isoprenalin induced myocardial necrosis in rats

The objective of the study was to evaluate the cardioprotective activity of flax lignan concentrate (FLC) in isoprenalin (ISO) induced cardiotoxicity in rats. Male Wistar rats (200-230 g) were divided into three groups. Group I: control, Group II: isoprenalin, Group III: FLC (500 mg/kg, p.o.) orally for 8 days and in group II and III isoprenalin 5.25 mg/kg, s.c. on day 9 and 8.5 mg/kg on day 10...

Anti-fatigue activities of polysaccharides extracted from Hericium erinaceus

Hericium erinaceus (HEP) is a notable medicinal fungus grown in China and other oriental countries. Polysaccharides from HEP have recently attracted considerable attention due to their numerous physiological activities. The objective of this study was to evaluate the anti-fatigue activity of HEP in a mouse model. After one week of acclimation, mice were randomly divided into four groups: a cont...

Methylation study of polysaccharides from seeds of Bauhinia purpurea

Methylation study of the polysaccharides showed three methylated components namely-2,3,diO-methyl-D-mannose, 2,3,6-tri-O-methyl-D-mannose and 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-methyl-Dgalactose in the molar ratio of 1:2:1:. Thus, the polysaccharide consists of a main chain of D-mannanopyranose units and D-galactopyranose unit is present in the side chain.

Evaluation of the Non Saponifiable Matter of Oils Extracted from Nine Varieties of Sunflower Seeds

ABSTRACT: In this study the non-saponifiable matter of oils extracted from nine varieties of sunflower seed were subjected a series of chemical tests. The non-saponifiable matters were fractionated into a number of chemical classes of compounds namely sterols, 4 methyl sterols, triterpene alcohols, tocopherols and hydrocarbons. The two major and important classes of compounds consisting of ster...
